As our valued clients, you have the right to be informed about how we use any personal information that we hold about you. The purpose of this document is to identify the type of data we hold about you and why the data is necessary. The full policy is available on request. Forerunner Leadership Training is the ‘data controller’ for the purposes of data protection law.

The personal data we hold

We hold personal information about you to make sure we notify you about events and training that may be suitable for yourself or your organisation. The information we hold include the following:

• Your email addresses
• Your telephone numbers
• Job Title
• Company Name
• Photographs from our events

 

How we Collect your data

• Initial enquiry submitted online
• Taking part in our events
• Telephone enquiries /conversations we may have with you
• We may also obtain personal information from business directories

 

Our legal basis for using this data

The information we hold has been obtained by consent. We only collect and use your information based on the requirements of the law. We use the information to inform you about events, training and services.  It also enables us to provide relevant training to suit your specific needs.

As required by GDPR, Forerunner Leadership Training will

• Not disclose your data to a third party
• Keep data up to date
• Secure all personal data collected

 

 How we store the data

We are under obligation to secure your personal information at all times. We have taken adequate measures to secure your personal information both electronically and manually. We have put systems in place to avoid any loss or damage to your personal information as set out by the ICO. Your personal data will be retained for up to 5 years.

Data sharing

We do not share personal information about you with other third-party providers.  Information will only be passed on to a third party with your expressed consent.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Request the personal information we hold about you.
• Update, delete or ask for your data to be destroyed.
• Withdraw your consent at anytime
• Object sharing your data with a third party
• Request a copy of your data held by us
• Make a complaint to the ICO

 

Further Processing

You will be notified and your consent obtained should Forerunner Leadership Training wish to use your personal data other than what is covered in the data protection notice.

 

Complaints
